Bonnie and Rosa created some beautiful snail illustrations and then did some research to find out more about the little animals. 

1. The smallest snail is measured to be 0.03 inches! It can’t be seen with the naked eye!

2. Snails have over 1000 teeth but they are not very sharp.

3. The world’s largest snail is called the Giant African Snail! It measured over fifteen inches!

4. Did you know that a snail’s shell grows when the snail grows it can start out small and end up big!!!

5. More about the teeth, did you know that the teeth of an aquatic snail, which is called a limpet, are the strongest material on earth? It is even stronger than titanium!
