Review: The Lost Library by Rebecca Stead & Wendy Mass
Review by Lexi

The Lost Library is a great story about people who don’t really find their place because they feel like they’ve done something or they haven’t done something, or they need to do something that helps people.
There are three different perspectives that you see through the book, there’s the main character, Evan, who’s trying to solve a mystery of how the old library in Martinville burned down. There’s a cat, Mortimer, who is just looking for a place in the world, and there’s a ghostly lady librarian who’s telling her side of the story of how everything went down. It all revolves around a little free library that appears overnight.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is completely different from anything else I have read this year. I loved the friendship between Evan and his best friend and the library setting and theme.
I give this book five stars. It is a must-read for anyone who loves books and reading. It’s a heartwarming mystery that kept me turning the page.
