The FDPS Fete is a massive school event where everyone in the community comes together for a day of fun and games. There are food stalls, drinks, entertainment and lots of good vibes.
Ms Chosid, FDPS principal, said that a Fete brings the whole community together.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve had a Fete. It’s been more than 20 years, and it’s a fantastic community event and it brings everybody together as one,” she added.
The 2025 School Fete was entirely planned by the P&C, who are volunteers and organise a lot of the special events we have at FDPS.
“It takes a lot of planning, but it’s not just one person. It’s a whole collaborative effort with a huge team. We have about six people working full-time on our school Fete,” Said Beth, the FDPS P&C President.
So what did FDPS students have to say?
“I think it’ll be fun because there are heaps of activities that you can do,” said Jonny, a Y6 student helping out on the day.
“There’ll be lots of fun games and stuff and all my friends will be there, and I’m very excited,” said Andy, Y6.
