I started to surf when I was about six.
My favourite place to surf is Maroubra Beach in Randwick. I like Maroubra because there are very good left-handers!
Here are five reasons I love surfing.
- When you are on the wave and you get some speed it’s the best feeling ever.
2. Any age is free to surf.
3. The best bit is when you get on the beach and smell the fresh ocean breeze.
4. When you put your head under and get the water on your face and start paddling.
5. People are cheerful, especially when you catch a wave and all the surfers go “yeah!”
