EXPERIENCE: I Went On Safari At The Nambiti Big Five Game Reserve
By Arlo

Arlo from the Darlington PS Press Gang is on holiday in South Africa. But like any good correspondent, he is still on duty! Here is his first report, a review of the Nambiti Big Five Game Reserve.
Name of Game Reserve:
Nambiti Big Five Game Reserve, but we stayed in Ndaka Safari Lodge.
Star rating:
5
What is the safari known for?
Having the Big Five – the five most dangerous animals to hunt on foot in Africa. They are:
-Buffalo
-Elephant
-Leopard
-Lion
-Rhino
In the order of most Dangerous, some people think, ‘oh, if they eat grass, Buffalos can’t be dangerous because only carnivorous animals can kill you,’. That couldn’t be more wrong. The reason Buffalos are the most dangerous is because they’re unpredictable.
What animals and landscape did you see?
Really cool rocks with huge mountains.
What was the highlight of the Visit?
Probably the lions that were only 20 centimeters away from me
What do you think people should know about this reserve?
That they have the Big Five and that there’s no poaching or hunting allowed, only looking.
Would you recommend visiting this reserve?
Very much so because they have REALLY GOOD food and really good people to look after you. David was our guide, and one of the best people I’ve ever met. He is really nice, and he was determined to show us the animals. He’s really good at driving on rough roads, too!
