Duolingo is an app that many people use to learn different languages like German, Spanish, Japanese and more. Duolingo allows you to learn different languages in a fun game style way, and it’s become very popular.
Duolingo has been around and developing since June 2012 and it has been growing since. It has 30+ languages to learn and 300 million user around the world.
I learn Japanese on Duolingo and i’ve been doing it for over 100 days. I was inspired to learn Japanese because by Anime and Manga.
How does it work?
When you start, the app asks how long you want to spend on it everyday, it could be 3 minutes to half an hour. It then gives you short lessons to do everyday and helps you stay motivated by giving you points.
Does Duolingo actually help you learn a language?
I have been learning japanese for six months and I can make short sentences and communicate in japanese and it has made me able to communicate with other people.
Duolingo helps you learn vocabulary and grammar, howeve If you want to learn a language fluently I completely support language teachers as they speak fluently making you realise how to speak it fluently.
