The Mini Olympics here at OGPS was an incredible event, but let’s see all the organisation behind it!
If you were here on the day, you would have seen the colorful Olympic flag at the front – would you believe me if I said someone painted it? Ms Long was behind that outstanding flag.
Why was this event so big though and what inspired it? Well the event was so big because the Olympics only happen once every four years.
The OGPS Mini Olympics had 30 countries participating! We had a range of activities from relays to obstacle courses and students enjoyed every moment of it.
Now, maybe we didn’t have actual gold medals, but the Mini Olympics was a huge success. And after lots of sport, we were definitely be hungry – luckily John and Ale cooked some sausages.
So, let’s see what OGPS students enjoyed about the mini olympics!
“Probably then relay where you had to put the Tutu and googles on and take them off again” – Zoe
“I enjoyed the obstacle course on the equiptment and meeting bew friends in my country, Panama” – Mark
“I actually kind of liked the relay were you had to go swimming it was really fun i enjoyed it a lot” – Allegra
“Working as a team and helping and meeting new kindergartens and having fun with them” – Ally
