Oda Eiichirō is a Japanese manga artist and the creator of the series One Piece. One Piece is both the best-selling manga in history and the best-selling comic series making Oda one of the best-selling fiction authors. And with over 1100 episodes on TV, it is also the best anime (according to us).
There are 87 arks as of right now including movies and fillers. If you are wondering what an ‘ark’ is, it is an island where the straw hats (Luffy’s crew) go, and a ‘filler’ is like a non cannon ark that is not needed but they can sometimes be fun to watch.
So, who’s who in One Piece?
- Luffy is the captain of the crew and has the very iconic straw hat.
- Zoro is luffy’s right hand man, in an ark called Enies lobby he uses nine swords at once.
- Nami has a weapon called the climatact and is in need of 100 million bellies at all times.
- Usopp is the designer of the flag and is very sentimental about the going merry (their first ship).
- Sanji is the cook of the crew and has the strongest kick you’ll ever see.
- Tony Tony Chopper is the best doctor with a hard past he is a very charming reindeer man.
- Nico robin is a killer at first to the straw hats but after time robin is a normal member of the crew and has a devil fruit.
- Franky is a cyborg and used to be a thief and built the 1000 sunny (their new ship)
- Brook is the musician of the crew who ate the revive revive fruit and is their second swords- man.
- Jinbe is a fishman and X member of the Big Mom pirates and the sun pirates who later joins the straw hats at whole cake.
