This story was first published in June 2021

Press Gang: What do you like about GEPS?

Ms Elli: I really love working here at GEPS because the staff are wonderful. But most of all, I like to get to know all the children that I work with and build a relationship with them.

Press Gang: Do you have any kids?

Ms Elli: I have two children. I have a boy who’s 18 and a girl who’s nearly 11. My son is in high school and he’s doing his HSC. He’s at Trinity Catholic College at Auburn, and my daughter is in Year 5 and she’s at Georges Hall Public School.

Press Gang: What is your favourite colour?

Ms Elli: My favourite colour is yellow.

Press Gang: What do you think makes a good school?

Ms Elli: Does it matter what school you go to? You all learn the same. You learn because you want to learn and to open your brains and to make you think, and to have a really good education, it doesn’t matter what school you go to. It’s you inside that brings that up and wants to learn.
