In the holidays while most of us were at the park, or playing video games, Year Four student, Michael, was busy winning an ice hockey tournament. I asked him to tell me more.
Sadie: I heard you won something in the holidays.
Micheal: Yeah, it was an ice hockey tournament.
How did you win?
Micheal: By scoring loads of goals with my friends.
Sadie: Were you in a team?
Micheal: Yeah. The Sydney Bears!
Sadie: How long have you been in the Sydney Bears?
Micheal: About a year.
Sadie: Do you enjoy it?
Micheal: Yeah!
Sadie: What was it like? Were you versing another team or did you like find out that you won later?
Micheal: We were reversing other teams. We got into the semi-finals and then we won against the actual home team of the ice rink and we got the gold medal.
