What The FIFA Women’s World Cup Means To Me

By Amari

The WWC means a chance to hang out and have a blast with friends and family to me. It also gives you a chance to support your country in which you love so much. When we were watching Australia vs Canada my mum said this, “it’s a great chance to watch amazing women athletes do what men can’t”. Plus, which soccer fan doesn’t love a World Cup? I’ve been to one WWC game which was Germany vs Colombia and the classic South American fans had to make the atmosphere as electric as possible. I’m not sure if you’ve seen that match or not but if you have I’m sure you’ll agree with Popp equalizing for Germany, scoring an 89th minute pen and Colombia scoring a header into the bottom corner in the last second that that match was as intense as a World Cup match can be! Anyway, the Women’s World Cup is the tournament of the season and should be watched by all ages (I saw a baby at the  Australia vs Canada match). Don’t think I’m not watching all the matches, know all the fixtures and am certain Australia are going to win! ⚽️⚽️⚽️🥅🏆= 🇦🇺!
