Meet Mr Kent from Hilltop Road Public School.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I enjoy being able to get young people to recognise what they might be able to do in the future. I teach a lot of digital technologies and I teach a lot of things that allow you guys to pick those subjects when you go to high school.
What was your first job?
My first job ever, I worked at Big W and I packed the shelves at night.
When did you get your first computer?
We got the Internet at my house in 1996, so I would’ve been 15 or 16.
To load a webpage would take five minutes.
You’d open up a webpage and then you’d go make a cup of tea. That was normal back then. We thought it was amazing.
