EAFC24, also known as FC24, is a football-themed simulation video game developed and published by EA.
It is the inaugural instalment in the EA Sports FC series following on from the successful FIFA video game series after Electronic Arts’s (EA) partnership with FIFA concluded with FIFA 23.
You can see advertising for FC24 online and on billboards everywhere. And, according to Electronic Arts, 11.3 million people installed FC24 within the first month. That’s nearly half of Australia playing FC24.
According to our research, 33 per cent of Year Five students at OGPS have the game and play regularly.
We asked some Year 5 students why EAFC24 is so good for keeping you entertained.
“I play EAFC24 because I like football and also my favourite players are in the game.
“My favourite mode is career mode and in career mode I like to be the player and also the manager,” said Jenson, 11.
He continued: “I like playing against other people online. I also like raining in the game to learn new skills.”
Another EAFC24 feature is Ultimate Team, which Dylan, 11, loves because he enjoys making his own teams.
Cole, 11, likes ‘Kick Off’ mode, because you can score goals with your favourite player or team.
