The books are flying! what is this magical place? Well, it’s the library – a place you can find books of all kind.
Ms A is the school librarian. She told us that it’s important for children to have a variety of books because they learn so many things
“When you read, you are learning to communicate to other people nicely, respectfully, and you’re understanding what is happening around the world. That’s why reading is so important, because reading is found in everything you do in everyday life,” she said.
Kids at Gwps love to borrow humorous storys. This year in 2024 the data shows that we already have borrowed 441 funny books that will make you laugh.
The most common humorous series are Captain Underpants and Dairy of a Wimply Kid.
We also found that students love horror stories. There are 11 Goosbumps books in the top 100 resources borrowed from the library this year.
