Luna Park: Then, Now, & Stage 3’s Day Out!

As you may have heard, Stage 3 went to Luna park in Week 5. But did you know that Luna Park has a lot of interesting history? Luna Park opened on the 4th of October 1935. It was based of the very successful Luna Park on Coney Island in New York. When Luna park opened in Sydney it was a major success continuing to be popular during WW2. Today more than one million people visit Luna Park every year.

I hope that one day, you will go to Luna Park and have the time of your life, eat popcorn, ride on roller coasters and just have fun – just like Stage 3!

So, what were the high- lights of the Luna Park excursion?

“I liked going on the rides with my friends. My favourite ride was the Boomerang because it goes backwards.”

Darcy
“I went on the 360 Sledgehammer. It was really scary and really fun. When we were upside down we had a pretty view of the harbour.”

Mila
“I liked the rides. My favouite ride was probably the Baby Shark ride.”
