Sydney Eisteddfod is a very special dance competition that Orange Grove Public School was very lucky to be part of. It was held at the Sydney Opera House on the 28th July. Sapphire, Emerald and Perry St Dance companies performed at the Eisteddfod.
- Perry Street Dance Company placed 2nd out of 24 schools in the P-2 Infants Dance Category.
- Sapphire Dance Company placed 3rd in the K-6 Primary School Musical Theatre Category.
- Emerald Dance Company scored 86/100 and narrowly missed out on a placing.
So how did students feel about taking part?
“The Sydney Eisteddfod was really fun, watching all the dance groups and how each style of dance is basically the best. I had so much fun,” said Elise.
