On the 21st of June it was International Music Day!
There are plenty of different types of music such as pop, jazz, rock, funk, classic country, techno and many more.
Kegworth is a very musical school where we have recorder lessons, senior and junior band, ukulele group and choir.

“I play the cello.It’s the instrument that sounds the most like the human voice. I was inspired from My great-grandmother who played the violin.”

“I play the piano,I like playing different rhythms on the piano. My mum inspired me to play.”

“I play the drums.I like that I get to smash Cymbals! What inspired him to play? getting to play cool songs ‘like seven nation army’”

“I play viola,I chose it because my sister plays it.”

“I like playing the piano because I can express myself when I play. I saw this TV show that had amazing piano players in it and I thought, ‘That could be me one day,’ and that made me want to learn.”
