Book Review: The Night War, by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

The Night War is a fascinating book. I give it a 5 out of 5 starts. What I enjoyed most about this book is that it has lots of tension and suspense.
It is about World War 2. The Nazis want to capture all the Jewish people and kill them, but by a slight chance, a little girl called Miri is is able to escape and rescue her neighbours’ two-year-old daughter, Nora.
They get saved by a lady that takes her to a convent school to live. Miri meets two other amazing girls who are also Jewish and they get to eat, and play all day. But they also have to be very careful because the soldiers are all very suspicious around her.
Miri can also see a ghost – but she is the only one that can see it.
Will the ghost and Miri talk to each other and get along or will they fight each other and disagree in everything they talk about? Find out in the book.
I recommend this book for kids aged 9 and above, especially If you love mysterious stories.
