People all around the world listen to and bond over music. Whether listening to Zara Larson or Kurt Cobain, you will find you have some things in common.
Not only is music fun to listen to, it also benefits you. Such as, helping you relax, giving your brain a workout and so much more.
Learning an instrument at a young age boosts memory, hand-eye coordination and is similar to a stress reliever. So, how can students develop a love of music?
Ms Findlay recommends letting yourself into the wide world of music, “just get involved in any way. Joining the school choir, going to a concert or even just listening,” she told Press Gang.
Mr Roberts recommends listening to any music that captures your heart and imagination. “Listen to it and listen to it loud,” he said.
All of these aspects of music bridge so far that there will always be one genre just for you.
