Do you think three is the best age because you don’t get any work and life is easy? Or would it be better to be 16 and old enough to drive?
We wanted to know what age students would like to be. We surveyed Stage 3 students and found out that age 18 to 25 got the most votes with 17 per cent, and age 10 to 12 (Stage 3/ Y5-6) got the least votes with 6 per cent.
We also interviewed some K-6 students and asked if you could be any age, what would it be?
Malak, from Kindy, said he would like to be 1 Trillion years old so that he can ride a motor bike.
Amal from Stage 3, said she would lille to be 18 so that she can drive and buy herself stuff.
Lamar, from Stage 1, said he would like to be 67.
Aryana in Stage 2 said she would like to be 11 years old so that she can get a phone.
So, what age do adults think is the best age? We asked Ms Macphail, GSPS Principal, whether or not she would restart her childhood. “I wouldn’t restart my childhood because I think it’s a different world now,” she said.
“My childhood was a lot simpler. We went outside, we played. If you had an argument with friends that stayed at school and didn’t go home, there was none of this fear of missing out.”
We have learned that most people want to be older (25+). People want to be old enough to drive a car or motorbike.
