Report: Fun In The Sun At The GWPS Athletics Carnival

Have you ever wondered what a school day outside would be like? Well, at GWPS, we have a series of sports events that happen every year.
At the athletics carnival, the weather was amazing and we had clear skies. The only downside was that the grass was wet, but luckily the school provided us with tarps to sit on and used megaphones to make sure that we knew when activities were called.
Some of the events were running races, shot put and long jump.
After conducting a poll, we found that 95 per cent of GWPS students enjoyed the Athletics carnival.
One GWPS kid we spoke to said, “The events were so cool. And I loved the races.”
