School News: VPS Athletics Carnival

Students running, children jumping, people cheering – our Athletics carnival was a lot of fun.

The Athletics Carnival was held at E.S Marks Athletics Field on the 31st July. Students compete a series of events such as the relay, shot put, long jump and 100m, 200m and 800m sprints.

The whole school was running, jumping and throwing and had a blast participating.

The Athletics Carnival is an important event for our school. “Everybody worked together and had fun,” said Miss Hill.

“I am the House Captain for Bennelong. I was happy leading my house and seeing them do well,” said Lukus.

“A highlight for me was seeing everybody smiling,” said Miss Zantis.
