The sound of the Thing transported me to another world. It is like a big storybook but with short tale after short tale.
Some poems in this book are sad and some have a kind of sing-songy vibe when you read it.
When I first heard the name I was quite surprised and wondered what it was about, now it is one of my favourite books. I recommend this book and it inspired me to write some poems.
