This book is told through two perspectives; Hero, a girl who feels like anything but her name and Aria, an Iranian refugee who appears to be mute. Can Hero help Aria find his voice and tell his story?

Main Characters:

Meet Hero, she’s just another kid who feels like the universe wants her to be one. Now meet Aria, a young poet who escaped from Iran with his family. Both characters are sweet and unique.

The book takes place in the events leading up to a slam poetry competition. It’s a mix of school and home life that really makes you think.

This is a great book. It is all a highlight, an absolutely perfect book. I loved it.
