What really is PSSA? You may be thinking, PSSA is just going to the sports grounds to play sport. Although the point of PSSA is to play the sport you love at an inter-school level, it becomes so much more. Especially when you are there with your friends and new people. If you think about it, every single one of you likes the same sport and with such a friendly crowd, PSSA is a sure-fire way to make friends with people you never knew before.
We asked some participants about what they thought of PSSA.
“I liked it because you got to play sport that is hard to play at the school grounds, and you could play properly with other schools. It’s fun to be out of school and play sport against other schools,”said Seb in Year 4.
“I liked PSSA because of the teamwork you had to do to win a match,” answered Will in Year 4.
“I liked having fun with my friends, even though I didn’t really have fun with them all. But I did get to make a couple of new friends and I think it’s just all about having fun,” said Jasper in Year 4.
“I liked PSSA because it was a lot of commitment and you got to play against other schools,” said Harrison in Year 5.
In conclusion PSSA was a big success, everyone loved the experience and our teams scored some trophies.
