8 Easy Costumes For The Book Week Parade

By Alice

If you’re tired of the same old Harry Potter (no judgement) costume, and you can’t think of anything else to wear at all (same here!), then here are some unique(-ish) ideas to wear to the Darlo Book Week Parade!

Diary of A Wimpy Kid

Super easy to do! To be anyone in the book, all you would need to do is draw on a paper plate and wear coordinating clothes, for example, Roderick; black shirt, jeans, Rowley; striped shirt, shorts.

Wolf from Bad Guys

To pull off this classic, you will need a suit, black face paint (for the nose), and wolf ears. You can probably find all of these things for cheap at KMart.

Captain Underpants

If you’re uncomfortable with wearing just your underpants, (which you should not) wear your underpants above your clothes. You can be a different character from it of your choosing, anyway, with a striped shirt and jeans.

Weirdo

This Anh Do classic everyone loves will be a great choice. Casual clothes from your wardrobe would work!

Anyone from the Keepers of The Lost City!

Get a cape, some dark, cool coloured clothes, and voila!

Gangsta Granny

You can find a white wig at any costume store, along with some fancy gold jewelry and fake cash. David Walliams classic’s are for sure the way to go!

Pig The Pug

Dog ears, beige clothing, face paint will pull off this greedy dog.

Wolf Girl

Last, but not least, a green jacket, black shirt and jeans, and a necklace would work.

Have a very merry book week, and happy reading!
