School Life: Highlights From The PPS Great Aussie Bush Camp

The Great Aussie Bush Camp was fun, chaotic, and messy but the activities were the best.
Here are some of the highlights:
The Giant Swing
The giant swing was a 15-meter swing. You put on a harness, get connected to the swing, get pulled up and WOOSH! You start swinging for about three minutes and then you hop off.
The flying fox
The flying fox was a zipline above the lake at the Great Aussie Bush Camp. It was very high, but once you go on it, it’s not scary. You do it with a partner.
The Mud Run
It was an obstacle made for the soldiers in the mud-like water. You go down a stack of tyres and do things like go through cement tunnels, jump off a swing, go down a slide and do a LOT of climbing.
Here is what PPS students had to say about the different activities:
Scarlett: “Racing my friends on the raft and having lots of fun together. I loved the AMAZING sensation of flying through the air.”
Ella: “I loved going through the obstacles and flying down the zipline with my friends.”
Olivia: “I loved swimming in the water and making the raft, running away from the teachers and climbing up to the top of the rock wall.”
