Running! It is so fun. And it’s even more fun if you compete with other schools. That’s exactly what our school did on the 21st May when we took part in Zone Cross Country. All the students that came 6th or higher in Cross Country went through to Zone.
The event happened in Auburn, next to the Duck River. We traveled there by bus and had to be there by 8am.
There were 11 schools at Zone and they were all really good at running. Kids aged 11 and older had to run 3 kilometres and younger students had to run 2 kilometres.
